“Our Management Team”
The members of our Management Team provide an extensive range of skills and security / safety expertise that encompasses over 120 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. We are affiliated to various associations including the Canadian Parking Association, CPTED Ontario, the International CPTED Association, ASIS Canada and CSIS.
We work directly with organizations to identify security and safety related threats and provide detailed recommendations to mitigate those risks, to provide a safe and secure environment.
Members of our Management Team have received certified training and are versed in the federal Government Security Policy (GSP) regarding Physical Security and TRA’s.

William (Bill) A. VanRyswyk, CPP
President and CEO |

William (Bill) is Board certified as a CPP (Certified Protection Professional) with ASIS International. Bill is recognized as a leading security expert in Canada with over 24 years of policing and crime prevention experience. Bill is also the past Vice Chairman and founding member of CPTED Ontario and is a renowned authority on CPTED strategies. (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design). Bill is presently serving as a member of the Board of Directors on The Canadian Parking Association Board of Trustees.
Bill has worked extensively with numerous government agencies, institutions, community groups and corporations across Canada in order to create safe and secure environments for their staff, clients and visitors.
Bill is a strong advocate of the principle that well-informed environmental design can greatly impact the level of safety and security, thus, in many cases drastically reduce costs to the owner and reduce the risk of civil liability.

John Periversoff
Vice President of Operations |
John is recognized as a leading security specialist with over 28 years in both public and private security at the service delivery, management, corporate and ministry level as a senior ranking officer.
He has played a key role in implementing CPTED, Crime Free and many other progressive crime prevention strategies and programs throughout Canada. John is recognized as an expert Instructor in CPTED and has provided training to numerous public and private institutions.
His diverse career has included a decade of work as a specialized hostage rescue officer, anti-terrorism advisor, chief academy Instructor, a policing advisor to the Deputy Solicitor General of Ontario, and other key appointments up to and including the federal level. He has provided risk/vulnerability assessment services that included mitigation tactics to decrease the risk and liability exposure for corporate and private industries.

Alain Giard
Vice President of Marketing and Sales |
Alain has acquired over 25 years of varied experience in the parking industry, primarily in the provision of solutions that support access and revenue control. Alain’s focus is to utilize his experience to recommend and deliver strategies for clients that will ensure their parking environments are safe and secure. Alain has gained an enviable reputation in the parking and traffic industry, working closely with government agencies, institutions and the private sector.

Richard A. Clark
Vice-President of Training and Development |
Rick has over 30 years of experience in both public and private security with a strong background in community and youth-related programs. He has been influential in establishing community partnerships and has co-authored “You’ve Had Pre-Natal, Now Get Pre-Teen”, a guide to parenting, youth and the law.
Rick has been instrumental in the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for sworn and civilian staff of a major police agency. Over the years, Rick has established himself as an expert in the diverse field of training. He is a strong advocate of delivering high quality training to ensure participants are subsequently equipped with the knowledge and tools required to provide excellent service.

Brian Duffy
Security/Training Specialist |
With over 22 years of policing experience, Brian has been responsible for the coordination of the Police and Public Safety Program for Algonquin College. As a professor, Brian has developed and delivered a variety of training programs.
As a security specialist and CPTED practitioner he works closely with public and private sectors to facilitate, develop, plan and implement customized safety and security strategies.
